These large, heavy shells can be found in one of the Special Encounters. On rare occasions, you might find one elsewhere in your travels. Considered unusable as live ammunition, they might have some other use. See the quest to Howitzer Shells (Quest).
Obtaining
- You get 3 in the Gun Runners Caravan Package quest
- You get 5 in the Ruined Military Bunker Special Encounter
- On rare occasions, can be found in random Footlockers
Uses
- You can dismantle them to yield a lot of Advanced Gunpowder
- You can take them to Barter Grounds and load into the working Howitzer Gun there to shoot down an Enclave Vertibird!
