This mission has three difficulty levels, and 3 maps. First, use the right command to set your combat mode (Real-Time or Turn-based). You choose the difficulty level in dialogue with Elise, and you get one of the 3 maps randomly. None of the options are very easy. The raiders in all three camps do superior/crit damage, will swarm you and heal quickly, and seem to have high resistances to both normal and critical damage.

  • Easy: Worst loot. Slags have low weapons, even some Zip Guns and molotovs, and leather and metal armor. Still, don't underestimate them - they do good criticals.
  • Medium: Somewhere in between. Don't expect to solo this easily in RT.
  • Hard: Best loot. Slags have Combat Armor and good weapons. Expect a very tough fight.

Choosing the difficulty level does not determine which camp you get.

NOTE: Watch for a text message at the end of the fight that indicates you've completed the mission.

Three Different Maps

  • Map #1 is an outdoor camp with no lower levels, surrounded by a fence with a main gate. There may be more enemies here than you expect, as they populate all areas both inside and outside of buildings. Check all containers - you might find a few high-quality Crafting materials. You might get this done within 30 irl minutes (1 round of Drugs).
Spoiler 1
You don't have to go straight in through the gate. You can go up either side of the fence on the outside, and find a door.
  • Map #2 is also only one level, an outdoor urban ruins. The layout is maybe a little bit tougher than Map #1. Set aside more time for this one, and bring extra ammo, some Repair skill, and Drugs just in case it's tougher than you expected.
  • In Map #3, you must fight your way into a vault with multiple levels. On hard difficulty, bring help. Bring a ton of ammo. Bring many sstims. Bring multiple rounds of Drugs, and spare Armor and/or someone with high Repair skill and some Super Tool Kits. At least 2 Real-Time hours needed, so plan for a longer adventure.
