Talchem California HQ
An abandoned compound, but might be frequented by Raiders and other, more deadly foes. It is an old factory/laboratory and watch out - it is a Full Loot Drop location! A good place for PvP. There is a working elevator that takes you from ground level to the 2nd floor, but you'll need some special key to get beyond the heavy doors.
"You found some keyhole, but you're not sure. Maybe it's for some special key?"
NOTE: Leave the Talchem Key in the terminal when you use it, and remove it when you leave. The key has to be in the terminal for the heavy double doors to open.
NOTE: Copies of the proper key that you might get from T-Ray, do not work here. The key has to be the authentic tubular key.
Once inside the "main gate", use the next console to close the heavy double doors, and open the big vault blast door. This door works oppositely from the main gates. Expect to be attacked here by multiple sentry robots! Many lockers and boxes are locked so make sure you have some Expanded Lockpick Sets.
WARNING! The interior spaces of this place are highly Radiated and some rooms inflict poison, so you should bring some Antidotes, Rad-X and RadAways.

- Some tier 2 weapons, and some with bonus stats, like P90 and H&K CAWS shotgun, Mega Power Fist and Minigun
- Some Flares, Junk, Bio Med Gel, Chemical Components, etc
- Some Books, a few Stimpaks and other Drugs, and a little Ammo
