This is the build for [[Guide Sandbox|the new guide]], meant for new players who prefer a structured route through [[Quests]] and other [[PvE]] content.

With this build, you will have the flexibility of 2 fighting skills: [[Small Guns]] ''and'' [[Close Combat]]. You'll use [[Combat Shotguns]], pistols, and SMGs, but you'll become a skilled fist-fighter too, doing a lot of knockdowns while enemies will often miss. With some [[Levels]], recruit NPC companions and build a combat support team to follow you around and back you up in fights. This is a combat-capable lead character, for quest-diving, and getting set up for your expansion, which will include additional [[Character]]s (combat specialists, etc).
