Skill Points are gained each level and can be spent on skills in order to improve them. The amount of Skill Points per level depends on the following things:
- The character's Intelligence
- Having the Skilled trait
- Getting the Educated Support perk
Skill Points Earned, based on Intelligence
Intelligence | SPs /level | SPs /level Skilled |
---|---|---|
1 | 7 | 12 |
2 | 9 | 14 |
3 | 11 | 16 |
4 | 13 | 18 |
5 | 15 | 20 |
6 | 17 | 22 |
7 | 19 | 24 |
8 | 21 | 26 |
9 | 23 | 28 |
10 | 25 | 30 |
As you level up and spend SP to boost your character's skills, the SP cost goes up as the skill goes up. The following chart shows that each skill % point costs 1 SP for non-tagged skills as you boost skills under 100%, but the cost doubles to 2 SP per each skill % as you boost skill levels between 101% and 125%. The cost goes up again at 126% and so on. Tagged skills however cost half as many SP.
Skill Points Expense, based on Skill Level
Skill Level | SP Expense, for Non-Tagged Skills | SP Expense, for Tagged Skills |

1-100% | 1 SP for +1% Skill Level | 1 SP for +2% Skill Level |
101-125% | 2 SP for +1% Skill Level | 2 SP for +2% Skill Level |
126-150% | 3 SP for +1% Skill Level | 3 SP for +2% Skill Level |
151-175% | 4 SP for +1% Skill Level | 4 SP for +2% Skill Level |
176-200% | 5 SP for +1% Skill Level | 5 SP for +2% Skill Level |
201-300% | 6 SP for +1% Skill Level | 6 SP for +2% Skill Level |
