Fire geckos are pretty tough creatures, if u want to hunt them for thier skin and craft some nice combat armors be careful not get to close, they have powerful breath of fire that does lot of damage even if you are in combat armor mk 2. They often critic you so hunt with ranged weapons.

However, unlike their [[Geckos|lesser]] [[Golden Gecko|cousins]], Fire Geckos are capable of breathing fire over a short-medium range, in a cone, dealing a considerable amount of fire damage; A damage type least mitigated by most armors. In addition to this, their attacks have a reasonable chance to [[Critical Hit|critically hit]], making short-range and melee engagements all the more dangerous.

However, unlike their lesser cousins, Fire Geckos are capable of breathing fire over a short-medium range, in a cone, dealing a considerable amount of fire damage; A damage type least mitigated by most armors. In addition to this, their attacks have a reasonable chance to critically hit, making short-range and melee engagements all the more dangerous.
