Reroll

“Reroll” a feature to recreate any character. With Reroll, can select new character name, SPECIAL distribution and Level Perks.

Use

How to reroll; use ~deleteself while standing in a tent/faction base and having at least 10,000 Bottle Caps in inventory. Careful! deleteself function deletes a character, removing all progress.

After the character is removed, a Book of Achievement is spawned in its place. Use the book on a new 1-lvl char to gain the levels of your old character. It will disappear when used completely. Obviously, it can't be used on more than one character.

Note It does not spawn when the deleted character has only 1 level.

WARNING The Book of Achievement gives only character levels - nothing else. Think carefully before using this feature, there is no way back!

• Support perks get lost
• Professions get lost
• Blueprints which the character learned get lost
• Implants get lost
• read Books by this character get lost
• Items in your inventory get lost
• Followers get lost
• Reputation gets reseted
• You leave automatically any Faction this character is part of (if you're the leader of a faction this can cause major problems, but if there is at least one important member then he can claim leadership)
• All Tents of this character don't get removed. However, they need to be seen on worldmap by another character, or they will be no longer accessible.

Reported mistakes | Common mistakes

Some players do some mistakes in the process of reroll, here is a list of the common ones, make sure you won't do the same.

Some reasons are obvious to say, but mistakes reported often, and GameMasters can't help you in any way, so pay attention.

• Don't forget to place AT LEAST 10,000 bottle caps in your inventory.
• Don't place ANY lower amount of caps in your inventory - if you place 9,999 - THE REROLL WON'T WORK.
• Make sure to be in your tent or base when doing reroll. Otherwise, the Book of Achievement will not spawn and the character will be lost.
• Make sure that nobody steals your caps from inventory or kills you before the character disappears and the book is spawned. Otherwise, the book will not spawn and the character will be lost. Make sure that your don't die from poison or radiation.
• Be sure, you are logged in with the right character. (Yes, this also happened)
