It is designed to provide increased damage tolerance by bolstering the user's skin cells with iron.

Getting this implant will permanently give the Character +10 maximum Hit Points. Any Character can get up to two of these implants, so getting them both will give the Character a total of +20 maximum Hit Points.

Surgery Requirements

Dr Fung in San Francisco is able to perform the necessary surgical operations. In order to do that, he needs the following, for each operation:

• An implant module for a particular augmentation
• A suit of Combat Armor (can be partially worn)
• 100k bottle Caps
• The patient/recipient must be at least Level 30 to receive the first one, and 40 to receive a second.

Only one module can be implanted per surgical operation. Any Character can have all of the SPECIAL implants installed, plus two each of the "combat implants" (Nemean, Dermal, and Phoenix). All implants are a permanent modification of the Character and cannot be lost or transferred in any way, nor recovered after a Reroll.

NOTE: Implants are lost if you Reroll a Character, so make that decision carefully.
