Selling Gecko Pelts is an unmarked quest in which the player-character trades four Gecko pelts, either Silver or Golden, for a variety of low-tier items.

Rewards

• 200 exp
• A choice between:
  • A suit of Leather Armor, or
  • a Shotgun, or
  • twenty 12 ga. Shotgun Shells, or
  • 200 caps.

Because the quest is unmarked, it never appears in one's pip-boy. Though, it is a good quest for many new characters looking for some work.
