A Fuel Cell Controller | ||

This chip controls the flow of power into a car's electronic engines. Many drivers quickly burnt out this chip through frequent rapid acceleration. Still a valuable part to have—if you only had a car to install it in. | ||

How to Obtain
It can be found in certain car wrecks, found only in city ruins. The chance to find a FCC in a car wreck is 10%, and this is not dependent on a Character's Luck.
Example: Your chance to find one FCC by checking ten wrecked cars:
c = n!/(k! * (k-n)!) * p^k * (1-p)^(n-k)
given: p = 0.1 n = 10 k = 1
c = 0.387420489
so the chance is about 38,7%
NOTE: There is an imposter wreck that looks similar. Both are hood-less convertibles, but it's the one with an engine that sometimes has an FCC.
Uses
It's needed to buy any vehicle in the Junkyard near San Francisco.
