Your character has been poisoned. Poison will do damage over a period of time until you're cured or it passes from your system.
More Information
The character was most likely bitten by one of the poisonous creatures in wasteland such as common Radscorpion. The character will receive a small amount of damage over time until the poison is naturally expelled out of the body. The rate of damage received depends on the amount of poison inside the body.
- Poison forces your character's Healing Rate to zero, thus stopping his ability to regenerate Hit Points
- High poison resistance reduces the duration of a character's poison
- The Rad Resistance and Snakeater Support Perks both help
- Poison can be cured with an Antidote
- Base poison resistance = 3% per each Endurance point
Warning
Characters with HP below 0 who receive poison damage will die immediately even if their HP is above -20.
