One of many organized, dangerous Group Encounters.
Bounty Hunters are often hunted down for the good amount of Super Stimpaks they drop, averaging around 20 pieces per encounter. Rarely, some of the gear they drop can be with prefixes - ranging from Quality to Unique.
Bounty Hunters also provide nice amounts of 5mm AP, 7.62mm and MFC ammunition.

Tactic

While fighting Bounty Hunters alone in Real-Time is next to impossible, they can be defeated quite easily in Turn-Based mode.
First, enter the encounter unarmed (a Motion Sensor can prove to be quite useful, your weapon can be in slot 2).
Then, pick a position that provides cover but is close enough so that you can step out, shoot at them and step back into hiding. Target and kill minigunners first - they can be quite deadly.

Notes

Bounty Hunters are usually found in zones 10:26 and 11:26. Be aware - some player killers may lurk in the same area, which is just below San Francisco.
