Talk to the guard near Vault City inner gates (the one who can grant citizenship). If you have at least 4 Intelligence or 3 Charisma, you will be able to receive a job - to collect rent from Courtyard residents: Ed the Brahmin Dealer, Joshua, Smith, Happy Harry, and John McRae.
The collected tax amounts to 1000 Caps, so some players just keep them instead of turning them in for XP.
Requirements
- Being at least level 10
- 3 Charisma or 4 Intelligence
- Not a Vault City Citizen
