This encounter is composed of a random number of ghoul-type walkers. While all the Dead Walkers are named "Endless Walkers", there are actually two different types of Walkers. One is a spear-wielding type, and one which is a hand-to-hand type. This group can be one of the more difficult Caravan Encounters that can be found on some caravan runs. It can also be encountered on independent player runs with three or more players traveling together, over level 9.
Dead Walkers are commonly found on routes running between the Hub and the New California Republic. They can also be encountered on routes running from the Hub to the Gun Runners, and the other way around.
This encounter can be extremely profitable due to the spearman found, each holding around twenty Sharpened Spears, and all spears can be sold for 60 caps in the Selling Spears repeatable quest in Junktown. It is possible to make more than 6,000 caps per caravan run, should one have enough carry weight to hold many spears.
NOTE: As with all Group Encounters, the number of hostiles varies and is not limited to what is shown here. It scales to the party size of the players or caravan.
