Mines are where iron ore and minerals can be collected; guarded mines only have low-quality ores and minerals, while unguarded mines have high quality iron and minerals. Additionally, Broken Hills has uranium and Redding has gold.
Guarded Mine Locations
The Junktown Mines is located at Grid 29:37 (just over 1 grid west of Junktown).
The Klamath Mine is located at Grid 6:3 (just outside Klamath).
The NCR Mines is located at Grid 32:28 (just outside Shady Sands, Capital of the NCR).
The San Fran Mines is located at Grid 12:25 (just outside San Francisco, the most evil place on earth).
Unguarded Mine Location
Broken Hills is located at Grid 29:17 (north/central eastern area). The mine is in town. Uranium is found here.
Gecko Mine is located at Grid 31:4 (north eastern area, a little over 1½ grids east of Gecko).
Redding is located at Grid 14:11 (north/central western area). The mine is in town. Gold is found here.
