Traits are optional qualities of your character that can be selected upon its creation.

Unlike perks, traits give you not only bonuses, but also penalties.

It is not possible to lose any of your traits, and neither is it possible to gain new ones once the character creation process has been completed.

There is a limit to the number of traits that one character may have, currently set at 2.
