The primitive tool is the most basic of all the resource-gathering tools. However, it can both chop wood and mine ores and minerals. This is in contrary to the Sledgehammer and the Hatchet which are both used separately in order to perform their respective tasks.

- It has a chance to break upon use, but there is a chance to recover the flint when this happens, allowing you to craft another one.
- It cannot be disassembled. Science has no effect on a Primitive Tool.
