War, war never changes. That's the only thing people know. Life is black and white, and between that there's killing, and lots of blood and tears.

You start by speaking with Detective Stark in the Shady Sands Police Station, but to proceed, you'll need to go back to Hope in Hub's Maltese Falcon, and try to find your fedora, the hat you threw away once Hope's case was closed.

Once you recover your hat, return to Detective Stark to get into solving some crimes. He tells you about all these active cases:

• Detective Gallows is investigating an assassination attempt on President Tandi
• Detective Pint is investigating the case of a little girl who has gone missing
• Detective Deckard is investigating half a dozen murders
• Detective Stark is investigating the sex trade problem 3000 XP (+2000 XP for killing a gang)
  • Contact is in the Rawhide Saloon
