War, war never changes. That's the only thing people know. Life is black and white, and between that there's killing, and lots of blood and tears.
You start by speaking with Detective Stark in the Shady Sands Police Station, but to proceed, you'll need to go back to Hope in Hub's Maltese Falcon, and try to find your fedora, the hat you threw away once Hope's case was closed.
Once you recover your hat, return to Detective Stark to get into solving some crimes. He tells you about all these active cases:

- First complete A Light in the Darkness
Rewards
- 1 Combat Helmet + 5k XP for solving Stark's Case: 3k XP on completion +2k XP for killing the gang
- 1 good gun + 4k XP for solving Pint's Case: 3k XP on completion +1k XP for killing the offenders
- 1 Combat Armor + 3500 XP for solving Deckard's Case: 3k XP on completion +500 XP for killing "The Ripper" serial killer
- ? XP for solving Gallow's Case: (wip)
