The Folded Tent is an item that enables a Character to set up a Tent or Safe House in the wasteland. It is rolled into a compact, travel-ready form. Any Character can have multiple Tents and Safe Houses.
Acquiring
- A Folded Tent might be included in your Lander's Point Exit Package if you Bring a Tent to the Weak Hunter
- You can craft them yourself
- You can acquire one as one of the rewards in the A Tent in the Wasteland quest
- You can get one by completing the Old Traditions quest
- You can buy them from Tool Makers
Uses
The Folded Tent is used to establish a semi-safe place to store gear. This is done by going to an empty zone in the wasteland, and USE the Folded Tent. That sets up a Tent, or a Safe House if you have the Ranger perk. No person or critter can be with you (except for NPC Followers). Once the tent is established, no other person will be able to come to it unless you provide them with a Tent Map.
