How much time a team's [[Town Control]] lasts is directly affected by the Speech skill of the character in that team that initiated TC. With a default low Speech skill, it is around 15 minutes, but can be closer to 8 minutes with max Speech, which is 300.
[[Town Control]] works differently now, so the speech does no longer influence the amount of time needed for the town to be taken, as the control is an immediate. High speech helps when there's an automatic 'team strength' check during the take-over. So having a speech of 100% and higher may actually help you to take the town smoothly without needing to fight militia.
