Buffout is a popular drug for Characters doing combat including PvP, and especially for Heavy Handed pugilists. Buffout adds 2 Strength to a Character's SPECIAL, thus decreasing the chance of weapon drops. Buffout does decrease Agility by 1, so it is usually used together with Nuka-Cola to recover that Agility point.
If a Character is a Heavy Handed punching expert, the nominal Strength might be 7, but with Buffout and Psycho, it can be 10 for maximum knockdowns.
Renesco sells this blueprint in New Reno's Commercial Row for 7500 Caps.
