Player-Driven Factions

From FOnline: Reloaded Wiki
Jump to navigation Jump to search

Player-driven factions, as opposed to NPC-driven factions, are formal groups established and run entirely by players.

Anyone can create a player-driven faction. In order to establish a new faction, a character needs to buy a base, which can be done solo or with other people. The character that buys the base automatically becomes the faction leader.

It is not possible to be in a player-driven faction and an NPC-driven faction at the same time.

The Guidelines

Please take your time to read these guidelines before adding an article about your faction:

  • Try to keep the article concise and relevant.
  • Remember that inappropriate content (obscenity, profanity, trolling, etc.) in the article will lead to the page's being removed and/or the author of the changes' being banned.
  • Keep in mind that our wiki is not an imagehost; please do not use too many images.

Faction Emblems

A Player Faction can get a standardized name color, and an associated emblem icon called a Faction Emblem. If approved, the names of that faction's member characters will be seen in their requested color, by all other players in the game, as long as they are using the default name color scheme (NameColorizing file). Their custom emblem will also be shown next to their member's names. This makes it quicker to identify who is who.

Note: You can use the file /art/intrface/factionIcons/test.png to test your faction icon on your factionless character.
