In order to obtain this quest the player must first learn the location of the Salvagers, which you can get through conversation with Dyer Greenberg. You can take this job from the Punk in Salvagers area of Boneyard, who can be found standing in the corner of the main building. If you talk to her she will ask you to deliver a letter to her friend in the industrial park, to the west. Your Character can ask for caps and will promptly be offered 100. After receiving the quest it will appear in your Pip-Boy and a message will pop up in chat saying: "I've got the job to deliver a message to some folks in the industrial park, Boneyard westside." A location will then appear in wasteland zone 26:44. There will be a hole in the fence which leads to the warehouse where you can deliver the message. Depending on how the player approaches the situation, in dialogue, two different outcomes are possible. Both end with no reward.
Trying to speak to the punk again will be returned with a "Fuck off."
NOTE: This quest can only be done alone.
