...crawled out of the vault, and right into the grave. One of my fellow vault dwellers, no doubt one the numerous newly-released ones, has been robbing wastelanders somewhere between New Reno and Shady Sands. One of the Junktown residents is willing to pay me to go over there and stop him from robbing more innocent people. I have his last known location on my map, and can probably find the vault dweller around there.

Hints...

The location is not, as indicated, between those towns. It is often far to the east in a city ruins zone. You have to fight a bald HtH vault dweller who has 3400 HP and does serious crits which will leave you Injured and knocked out. He heals and recovers quickly, keeps hitting you, seems to never run out of AP, and absorbs tons of damage without being phased. This is an "ammo sink" even if you use Drugs and bring friends.
