This category contains articles on items used to craft other items. Gathering some of these items requires certain tools, like a Shovel, a Knife, a Hatchet, a Sledgehammer or Primitive Tool:

• Brahmin Hides, Scorpion Tails, Gecko Pelts, and Meat can be obtained when hunting Brahmin, Radscorpions, and various geckos.
• Iron Ore and Minerals can be mined in any of the seven mines/quarries on The World map: Junktown, Shady Sands, San Francisco, Klamath, Broken Hills, Redding, and Gecko.
• High Quality Iron Ore and High Quality Minerals can be mined from 3 of the 7 Mines: Broken Hills, Redding, and Gecko.
• Wood can be chopped from some trees, found in many Random Encounters all over the place, and in some Towns.
• Flint, Broc Flowers and Xander Roots can be found on the ground in most non-urban Random Encounters.
• Fruit can be gathered from certain trees that show apples on the branches, in some Random Encounters, and sometimes in Towns.
• Fibers can be cut from fiber stalk plants in some Random Encounters, and some are found in Towns like Hub and Modoc.
• High Quality Fibers can be purchased from Balthas at Modoc, and from Rondo at Shady Sands.
• Junk can be found in random city ruins, from Glow, and also from junk barrels in Hub.
• Gather Electronic Parts from Hub's Old Town, Themepark, Waterworks, Junkyard, Mariposa Military Base, Vault 15, and others.
• High Quality Electronic Parts can be purchased from Skeeter at Gecko, and from Ralph at Gun Runners
• Chemical Components can be gathered from Toxic Caves and Waterworks, or found in Glow. Maybe more?
• Bio Med Gel can be purchased from Dr. Fung in San Francisco or from Phyllis at Vault City, or found in Glow.
• Polymers can be purchased from Bill the Outfitter at Broken Hills and from Lao Chou at San Francisco.
• Raw Uranium Ore can be mined at Broken Hills.
• Barley can be gathered at Tobacco Farm and Modoc.
• Brahmin Dung can be picked up with your bare hands wherever you find it, mostly in Brahmin pens and is used to craft Jet.
• Empty Jet Canisters can be purchased from Jules in New Reno.
• Empty Hypodermics can be purchased from Jules in New Reno.
