History
Klamath is a small town built upon the post-war ruins of Klamath Falls, in Oregon.
Description
Klamath is far from the starting places in Reloaded, and does not have a train station. It does however have a guarded mine nearby, is part of the Town Control system, and is home to one of the more popular quests. This combination often makes Klamath a battleground, an exciting and deadly place where players should expect to find PvP combat anytime. Beginners should take care as this city is not safe! You may get killed easily.
Activities
- Get paid for Shoveling Poo at the brahmin pen near the main entrance.
- Klamath also contains quests.
- The Town Control system makes this town a battlefield sometimes.
- You can rent Hotel Rooms here.
- The Klamath mine is guarded nearby where you can gather Iron Ore and Minerals.
- A Barber will cut your hair (shorten or make it longer) if you are a male.
- You can trade with Merchants, like Maida Buckner at the Buckner House, or Sajag at the Golden Gecko.
- The Gecko Skinning and Light Step support perks are available in the Trapper Town area.
- There are rat-infested tunnels under Klamath.
- You can join the caravan as a guard.
- Some townsfolk hang out at the Buckner House, like Ardin Buckner, Smiley, Whiskey Bob, and Sulik.
- Smiley sells four different pre-built Bases, including the Depot Base, and two different types of Cave Bases.
- Sulik can improve melee weapons for 10k Caps.
- Vic lives in town, and will tell you some general information about the area.
- Sally Dunton runs Klamath's Bathhouse, but does not dialogue much with "idjits".
- Talk with Slim Picket in a Trapper Town building, above the Advanced Workbench about various things in Klamath, or to initiate Town Control.
